Dr. Nawaf Obaid, a former senior adviser to the Saudi administration, published an article in the Palestinian Arab newspaper Al-Quds in which he wrote that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will not agree to normalize relations with Israel until a full-fledged Palestinian state is established. He further wrote that Israel's current policy toward the Palestinians does not allow for normalization between the two countries.The article states that the Saudi Crown Prince has made many efforts regarding the Palestinian issue and even kept in touch with both sides, including the Israeli side, but currently prefers not to move forward with his efforts in this direction.
