Police said there were no civilians among those wounded in the shooting attack in Hadera.A total of 12 victims were evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Hospital. One of them is in serious condition, Ine is in moderate condition, three are in light condition, and the rest suffered from shock. Two Israelis were killed in the attack - a man and a woman.

ISIS news agency says the two terrorists who carried out the attack in Hadera had sworn allegiance to the organization.

The US National Security Council condemned the terrorist attack in Hadera."We are appalled by the terrorist attack in Hadera, Israel, in which two police officers were killed and several other people were wounded. We stand with Israel and our partners in the region in the fight against terrorism," it said.

Sigal Duani, who lives near the scene of the terror attack in Hadera, recounted the traumatic experience in an interview with Galei Zahal.'I came home with my two daughters just before the shootings started. I laid them down behind a wall, below the window line, and I lay down over them [to cover them]. I was afraid bullets would penetrate [the wall],' she said.

Yoram Schweitzer, a senior research fellow at Israel's Institute for National Security Studies, spoke in an interview with Galei Zahal about ISIS claiming responsibility for the Hadera terror attack.'ISIS has not been able to gain a foothold in the Arab Israeli or Palestinian public. The last two instances included people who were already [indoctrinated] by the idea. I do not see this [terror] organization attacking the State of Israel as a major target,' he said.
